The training is an awareness programme aimed at giving the participants an overview of the subject. This will be supported by local guidelines and points of contact for your site, and your ways of working. You will have Information Security procedures detailing all aspects of your data control. All of your data processors should be fully trained, vetted and screened to BS7858:2012 and sign confidentiality agreements regarding the use and transfer of data. Adhering to the principles of the both the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/279 and Data Protection Act 2018, is imperative to your procedures. Training will reduce the risk of personal information loss when, stored, handled or controlled by your employees.
